    The Tunisian Association for American Cultural Studies, in collaboration with the Doctoral School Linguistique, Discours et Enseignement des Langues at ISLT, organizes a thought-provoking study day exploring how film captures crisis, identity, resistance, and rebuilding in American culture.

    We welcome abstracts that engage with themes of collapse, post-9/11 narratives, cinematic resistance, and fragmented storytelling.

    Tunisian Association for American Cultural Studies is launching “TAACS Think-Space Session 1: Research Feedback” –

    Think Space for PhD and MA2 students is a collaborative academic environment designed to support emerging researchers at different stages of their work. It offers participants the opportunity to present their research projects, share ideas, and receive constructive, thoughtful feedback from peers and mentors. Through open discussion and critical exchange, students are encouraged to refine their arguments, strengthen their methodologies, and gain new perspectives on their topics. The space fosters a supportive and intellectually engaging community where participants can build confidence, develop their academic voice, and advance their research in a meaningful way.
